The practical questions, answered.
Can I switch today?⌄
Not yet. Braevi is being built now. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you once, when it opens. Go live within 2 months and your first 3 months are half price, and eligible early merchants keep the founding price for their chosen plan for as long as they’re with us.
Can I keep my domain?⌄
Yes. You’ll point your existing domain at your Braevi shop, and we handle the security certificate. Your email isn’t affected. No domain yet? You get a free yourshop.braevi.shop address to start with.
Do I need to cancel Shopify first?⌄
No. Build your Braevi shop while Shopify keeps selling, then switch over when you’re ready. Once your domain points to Braevi and your first orders are coming through, you can cancel Shopify, ideally after exporting anything you want to keep.
What can I bring across?⌄
Your products (with variants, images and stock levels), collections, customers, past orders, pages and blog posts. Reviews come across too if your reviews app can export them as a CSV, which most can. Your customers will set a new password the first time they sign in, because Shopify doesn’t share passwords with anyone.
Will I lose my Google rankings?⌄
Braevi does that for you. When you import your shop, we read every product, collection, page and blog address and set up permanent (301) redirects to the new ones automatically. Your page titles and descriptions come across as they are, and you get a checklist of anything we couldn’t match, so nothing is left pointing nowhere.
Redirects cannot guarantee Google rankings; search visibility may change after a move.
Do you take a cut of my sales?⌄
On card payments we add 0.1% + 5p to Stripe’s fee, so a standard UK card costs 1.6% + 25p in total, or 57p on a £20 order. PayPal goes through at PayPal’s own rate, with nothing added. Your monthly plan starts at £29, with every feature included and no apps to buy.
